Hello KADI Botanical Inc. Shareholders and newsletter subscribers.
We hope you and your families are well and keeping safe in these difficult times.
We are still here and have made significant progress on the CEPE®II prototype which can now, as promised in our June update.
We have been held up about 6 weeks or so from our planned schedule as a result of COVID 19 and a couple of development issues which are now behind us, and we are back on track.
We have made significant progress on the CEPE®II machine which is now fully operational and ready for a number of new tests which we have planned for the next period, ahead of demonstrations of the technology to interested parties.
The company is seriously considering manufacturing industrial scale CEPE®II machines for lease purposes only, and we will be looking at this as a new business opportunity and evaluating the potential over the next couple of months. This potential new opportunity is a very positive approach for increasing the awareness and value of the CEPE® technology and the company moving forward regardless of which direction we finally take.
We have recently been granted a patent on our technology in Lebanon and the Taiwan issue fee has also just been submitted so we expect the Taiwan patent to issue imminently. Independent patents are also pending in Uruguay, Pakistan and Jamaica.
We have activated the PCT applications which will begin to issue as patents in the near future which include all European countries, England Ireland Scotland, USA, China, India, Columbia, Mexico, South Africa and Australia. We believe this very extensive patent coverage provides world-wide protection for our intellectual property in view of probable future changes in cannabis regulations around the world and as such provides the potential of a world-wide market for our technology moving forwards. We have also registered CEPE® as a registered trademark.
Our fundraising drive will close on September 30 having reached our goal of $500,000. Most of the funds will be used to produce the industrial scaled CEPE® unit and to cover ongoing operational expenses.
It is with heavy hearts and great sorrow that we report the passing of Malgorzata Orlinski (Gosia).
Gosia, the life partner of Adam Dooley (Company Director), lost her courageous four-and-a-half-year battle with Cancer on August 9th, 2020.
A sweet warrior princess of heroic energy who fought valiantly till the last.
Gosia will be sorely missed by everyone who knew her but especially by her deeply adoring partner, Adam.
May you rest in peace, Gosia.
